As we all know Poe and HP Lovecraft have contributed a lot to literature and inspired numerous horror movies and stories. A tv show that sticks out to me when thinking about these two incredible authors is a Netflix series named, Locke and Key. There is horror with suspension that keeps you on your toes, wondering what will happen next. In this show, it follows the death of a father who leaves behind a family legacy of keys to his 3 children, not ones that open doors, reality-bending ones. In this way, I compare it to HP Lovecraft's work in Color our of space, both brought in a concept that is completely out of the ordinary and strange. As well as in Poe's writings, for example, the Raven, the character wants is amused by the talking raven.
